Wednesday
23rd July
There was a record count
of 13 Common Lizards on site today, 12 seen by the bottom lake and 1 on the pasture field. Also 2 Slow
Worms, and an adult Grass Snake was the first record in the house & woodland area.
Tuesday 22nd July
Surprisingly only a single
Slow Worm was noted today.

A good day today with

Lizards were enjoying the sun around the site, also the Adder still present for its third day and a single Slow
Worm.

seen again by the bottom lake, also 3 Common Lizards and 4 Slow Worms.
Friday 6th June
There was another nice
surprise today whilst doing a reptile survey, with our 3rd Adder of the year which was found sitting very comfortably
under some roofing felt. Also 1 Grass Snake, 5 Slow Worms and 3 Common Lizards.

were found today 1 by the bottom lake and 1 in the pasture field, also 3 Common Lizards.

The only reptile present
today was a single Slow Worm.

A few reptiles found today
with a freshly emerged Grass Snake which has just shed its skin, also 3 Slow Worms and 3 Common Lizards.
Thursday 22nd May
A female Adder was
found by the pasture land this morning showing very well bathing in the sunshine, this is the 2nd record for this species
this year, also a total of 3 Slow Worms and 4 Common Lizards by the bottom lake.
Tuesday 20th May

Lizards were found by the bottom lake.

There was 1 Grass Snake
and 3 Common Lizards this morning by the bottom lake.

1 Common Lizard present this morning.

1 Grass Snake was
still present by the bottom lake, and the first Slow Worm was also found. A Wall Lizard and Common Lizard
were also noted.
Monday 12th May
1 Grass Snake was
the only species seen today.
Friday 9th May
A super find up on the
hills this morning with a rather handsome male Adder bathing in the sunshine, this is the first I have ever seen
in the wild, and it certainly showed well for up to 45 minutes giving some good photo opportunities. Also today a Wall
Lizard and Grass Snake by the bottom lake.
